Frist Gala
Event Branding
2024
For this branding project, I developed a comprehensive visual identity for the Frist Museum's annual fundraising gala, drawing inspiration from Ron Jude's striking photography exhibition "12Hz." The exhibition explores the profound intersection of geology, time, and transformation—themes I strategically amplified through every element of the design.

This project is all about subtlety. I chose heavily textured paper stocks with small variations that evoke sedimentary rock formations and create an immediate sensory connection to the exhibition's themes. The clean, modern type system sits in deliberate contrast to the organic textures, and the thin topographic line patterns as background elements frame content while reinforcing the geological narrative throughout all materials.
